Here are some of the products we carry in our Vet Shop for your convenience with flea/tick/heartworm prevention and the health of your pets. And remember - all heartworm preventatives require a current prescription or a current heartworm test. Here are some of the medications we dispense :
Advantage - kills fleas (topical solution). Lasts one month.
Advantage Multi - kills fleas, prevents heartworms, hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms (topical solution). Lasts one month.
Advantix (NOT to be used on cats or on dogs in houshold with cats!) - kills fleas, mosquitoes, ticks (topical solution). Lasts one month.
Capstar - kills fleas (oral tablet) begins working in about 20-30 minutes. Lasts for 24-48hrs.
Comfortis - kills fleas (flavored chewable tablet). Lasts one month.
***Frontline Plus - kills ENTIRE life cycle of fleas, including flea eggs, and kills ticks (topical solution). Lasts one month.
Interceptor - prevents heartworms, hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms (flavored chewable tablet). Lasts one month.
Program - kills fleas (oral medication lasts one month or injection available for cats). Lasts 6 months.
Revolution - kills fleas and flea eggs, ticks, prevents heartworms, hookworms, roundworms, and ear mites, and treats sarcoptic mange (topical solution). Lasts one month.
Sentinel - sterilizes fleas, prevents heartworms, hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms (flavored chewable tablet). Lasts one month.
