Dr. Swafford
Dr. Lacey Swafford is a Georgia native, growing up in Fayetteville. Dr. Swafford attended the University of Georgia where she earned her BSA with a double major in Animal Sciences and Biological Sciences from the College of Agriculture. Dr. Swafford attended The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2017.
She started her career in South Georgia where she spent several years working as an associate veterinarian at a busy practice in Statesboro, GA. She gained valuable experience in both general practice and emergency medicine working in a more rural setting. Dr. Swafford and her family moved back to the area and joined the team at Crestview Animal Hospital in 2023.
Dr. Swafford has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and dentistry, but she loves all aspects of general practice and preventative medicine. She has a passion for education and values time spent on client education, staff development, and mentorship.
When she is not working, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time outdoors with her family.
