Dr. Bezdek
Dr. Zsofia Bezdek is an experienced emergency veterinarian and currently is the Medical Director of both our Emergency Department and Small Animal Rehabilitation Center. With a strong background in small animal emergency and critical care, she has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, expert care in fast-paced urgent situations. Dr. Bezdek earned her DVM in 2018 from Szent Istvan University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest, Hungary and completed further clinical rotations at Louisiana State University.
Her extensive work in various emergency clinics across metro Atlanta has enhanced her skills in diagnosing and managing complex cases, performing life-saving surgeries, and guiding pet owners through difficult moments. Beyond emergency medicine, Dr. Bezdek is passionate about small animal rehabilitation, integrating this with her emergency care expertise to enhance recovery outcomes.
Fluent in English, and Hungarian, she combines her clinical knowledge with excellent communication and empathy, ensuring pets and their families receive the highest standard of compassionate care.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, swimming, running and spending time with her miniature Dachshunds.
